Egregor Ransomware
Egregor is a Ransomware as a Service that partners with individuals or institutions that hack networks to deploy ransomware payloads. These affiliates then distribute any ransom payment earnings with the Egregor operators using a 70/30 split.
After infiltrating the victims' networks, they steal files and encrypt devices and use them as leverage to demand ransom. They threaten to publicly leak the stolen data if the ransom is not paid.
