Application-specific password

Also known as an app-specific password is a 16-digit passcode that gives a less secure app (third-party app) or device permission to access your account. For instance, if your emails are hosted with MailSafi and you would like to access your emails via a third-party app such as Outlook, Thunderbird, you can activate application-specific passwords for each application or device that you use.
