Email hosting

Email hosting is an internet service which rents out and operates email servers. Email hosting services are considered premium services in comparison to services that offer free webmail such as Yahoo and Google or even those that offer free emails on shared website hosting serves.

Email hosting providers are better able to manage high email traffic. They also require that businesses own their own domain name in order to distinguish them. For instance, a typical hosted email may be in the format of yourname@companyname.com
